Gray Whales of Magdalena Bay – Feb. 15 – Mar. 15

Every year between Nov. and April the Pacific gray whales migrate south to the warm waters of the Baja. There are three major birthing and mating lagoons. Guests will explore the most southern of the lagoons in Magdalena Bay and have the opportunity for an up-close and personal experience.

Trip Highlights:

– 3 hours gray whale and bird watching with private group excursion (NO lineups in the co-op)
– Max. 6 guests per panga, guide
– After lunch enjoy a short hike to the fossil beds, archaeological site and/or the San Hilario oasis
– Approx. 7-hour excursion (if guests would like to forego the after lunch activity we can drop you off at the camp)

Additional Activities while enjoying the beautiful desert backdrop:
– Sunset, sunrise and landscape viewing area
– Evening stargazing
– Social time over drinks and snacks
– Following day morning hike

2 night/3 days – $495
3 nights/4 days – $765 – all of above activities plus 3 hours more gray whale and bird watching +2 more activities
